Family of Mrs. Patton,

I went to church at Highlands as a young girl and teenager. I had the joy of knowing Mrs. Patton during that time. She was such a sweet and kind lady, and I have often thought of her over the years. I am so sad to hear of her passing, but I take comfort in knowing that she is with our Lord now. My fondest memory is when the youth used to sing Christmas carols to some of our church members, and Mrs. Patton would always serve us hot chocolate and speak with us about her life and her witness.

Your family is in my prayers during this time.

To all,

I am so sorry about Mama Pat's passing. I loved her very much. She was an amazing great-grandmother to my daughter, Kailee and to all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a true southern lady and a Christian, a wonderful cook and gardener. She was a kind and caring lady and I shall treasure the time I spent with her. We will carry beautiful memories of her in our hearts.

I am so sorry about the passing of your mother. I know your will miss her very much, but she must have been a great mother, grand mother and a great grand mother. All the past 83 years of my life I lived in McCrory AR. I am now 86 and my oldest daughter insisted on me to move to Cabot where she lives, She & her husband built me a house in their back yard. I do live by myself though. I do have another daughter who lives in Sherwood which is near by. Then One lives in West Memphis, And another one lives in Irving. Texas. She and her daughter and son have been to see me just recently, like last week. I am in pretty good health, Have a pace maker and have had knee replacement surgery abut two years ago. Right now I do not have pain one any more, thanks to my doctors and the good Lord above.
My twin brothers and I are the only ones left living in the
James Harve--Tess McDaniel Thomas family. Daddy did married another woman that after my mother died and she and Daddy moved to Plumerville after he retired from farming and lived there until they both died.

To Jimmy, Lando, Bettye, and Kirk & Peggy, Miss Jaunita was a very special lady, as was your Mamma Patton, and had a very positive and significant influence on my life and on many others. The saddness of your loss will slowly dim and the brightness of her smile and the wisdom her words will increase in your memory as the years pass. God Bless You all. From all of Ola's Kids
