Mr. Dale A. Raper, age 81 of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Dale A. Raper was born March 7, 1928 in Emmetsburg, Iowa to Cecil and Nena (Cherry) Raper. He married Marilyn Rae Moore June 25, 1950 in Marathon, Iowa.
After graduating from Garfield High School in Webb, Iowa, he began to help his dad farm. He continued farming till 1988. Mr. Raper enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family at the cabin.
Mr. Dale A. Raper is survived by his wife Marilyn Raper of Mountain Home; 3 sons: Greg (Paula) Raper of Spencer, Iowa, Doug (Karen) Raper of Weare, New Hampshire, Jeffrey (Susan) Raper of Andover Minnesota, 1 daughter: Cindy Stump of Mountain Home, 9 grandchildren: Eric, Lisa, Abby, Jason, Jennifer, Emily, and Kaylynn Raper, and Mitchell and Jessica Stump, 2 great-grandchildren: Sadie Raper and Blake Morris. Also surviving is a brother in-law: Gary Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Donna Knudtson.
All services will be private.

just wanted to let all of you know that even though i am not there that my heart is with all of you.

So sad to hear of Dale's passing. We remember the great time we had visiting you folks a few years ago. Linda had fun doing the dishes with Dale. Very fond memories.
