My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May you take some comfort in knowing that Justin was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him,and was a true hero to the ones of us who never had the privilege of meeting him. God Bless and Comfort You.
To the family of Justin Gill,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I am also very deeply in debt to your son. Although I don't know the cause of Justin's death yet, just the loss of him is devastating to me, because I never got to properly thank him for what he did for my family.
When he was over in Iraq, he made a video of his training at Camp Shelby and posted it on YouTube. Through this video, I was able to see a picture on it and find my nephew, who had been taken from my family for the past twelve years. If it had not been for Justin getting the message to my nephew, Mikel Hall, we would not have been able to have a reunion with Mikel when they came home from Iraq in December. We would still be looking for Mikel today if it had not been for Gill. I can not tell you how grateful and indebted we feel to this fine young man. We had planned to have a party for him when the weather warmed up. We are just SO grateful to Justin. He will always be in my heart for his selfless actions and the help he gave my family in finding Mikel.
To say that his death is a shock and upsetting to me is an understatement, as I am sure it is to you also. We will pray for him and for your family.
God Bless you all.
We are eternally grateful,
Jeannie Clifton-Laster
God comforts.
