Lunceford Bramlett (L. B., Red) Hodges, 87, of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Helen Hodges; his parents, Lunceford Bramlett and Mary Katherine Hodges; siblings, John F. "Jack" Hodges and Nell Frances Hodges.
He is survived by his six daughters, Mary Jean Hodges of Charlotte, North Carolina, Barbara (Dave) Bess, Birmingham, Alabama, Diana Hanson, Atlanta, Georgia, Gaea (John) Miller, Little Rock, Robin (Lindsay) Cloud, Little Rock, and Nancy Hodges (Dana Stovall), Benton; seven grandchildren, Patrick Brannon, Matt (Alison) Brannon, Robbie Brannon, Alison Bess (Curt Meyer), Melissa Bess, John Miller and Robin Miller; two great-grandchildren, Mary Kiley and Cooper Brannon. He also left a sister-in-law, Kathleen Sharpe. L. B. enjoyed life to the end and left many good friends behind.

Rosary service will be at 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2008 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501)224-8300.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Christ The King Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a Catholic charity or your favorite charity.
I miss my dad immensely...even 4 months later!

All my love and prayers to my cousins. I always loved being around Uncle Red..........his stories always made me laugh. I know he and daddy have already gotten together! I am with you in spirit.........so sorry I cannot make it to the funeral.

THE BEST UNCLE ANYONE COULD HAVE... HE TOUCHED BASE WITH ME
MANY TIMES A YEAR... HOW MANY UNCLES DO THAT.. HE WAS SO SPECIAL TO ME AND I LOVED HIM VERY MUCH... NOW I HAVE ANOTHER
ANGEL TO PRAY TO...
L.B. was a wonderful guy and I will miss seeing him in the office. My deepest sympathies to all of his family.
