Dear Ms. Lu and Family,
What a blessed privilege to have known and served under Bro. Dickinson so many years ago. We shall always treasure our hearts' memories of days spent together at Oxford Baptist Institute, Yellow Creek Baptist Camp, and the youth rally associations. Many marginal notes are made in both our Bibles of Bro. Dickinson's sermons while he pastored South Lamar Baptist (formerly University Baptist). We will always be indebted to his memory and to Ms. Lu for the examples they lived before us in our early years of ministry. We know you feel God's presence during this time of sorrow, and we hope you know how much you are loved. Love and Prayers, Bro. Jerry & Connie Baker

We are Pleased to say that we knew and loved Bro. Dickinson. We visited their services in Missouri before they had their building.
Bro. Dickinson was a great blessing to the cause of Christ and a missionary that all could admire.
May God bless his family.

Our hearts and prayers are with the family. Brother Leroy Dickerson was one of the best Christian gentlemen in our work.
I remember our extended visit when he was leaving OBI. As he was persuading me to go to Oxford he impressed me as a loving man who had a great love for the Lord's work.
I know the love for his family will be some of the strenght that will guide you through this experience.
Our love & prayers,
Jerry & Clara Carter

It was with a pain in my heart that I learned of Brother Leroy's passing. Our acquaintance spans more than 50 years.
I know that death brings sorrow, but we sorrow not as others who have no hope. What a glorious reunion it will be when we are all together again on that etrnal side of God's plan for His children.
May God bless and comfort each of you.

Dear Family, We pray for God's continued comforting grace at this time. There are so many special memories of Bro. LeRoy; the laugh, the chuckle, just being the classy Christian gentleman that he was. One that stands out most is a sermon he preached at the lakeside service / Teen Spectacular at Budd Creek Camp way back in the early '80s (those were great times!). It was entitled, "What Was Missing Was the Lamb." I have it marked in my Bible. The message was marvelous. Bro. LeRoy has now seen The Lamb! Praise His Name! God's blessings on this wonderful family. We love you all.

I have so many fond memories of hearing Bro. LeRoy preach and visiting the ministry in Oxford, MS when I was a teenager. The boys slept in SS rooms in the church and the girls slept in your home. In addition to the great services we enjoyed there, we also enjoyed being a part of your family for a week. I can't tell you how much I still cherish those days and there is just not room enough here to express it all. Just know our love, thoughts, and prayers are with the whole Dickinson family during this time of sorrow now and in the difficult days ahead. May God bless you all and may you always find comfort knowing you will see your beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather again.
In His love,
Greg & Cyndy Glover
