Armeta Jane (Janie) Hatch, 61, of Brookland, passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2008, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. She was born in Trumann on December 13, 1946 to Johnny and Lenora McDole. Mrs. Hatch was retired from Riceland where she worked for over 20 years as the manager of the grain dryer office. She attended Southside Community Church in Paragould, loved cooking, gardening and family outings at Spring River.
She leaves behind her husband, Dan Hatch of the home; a son and daughter in law, Shannon and Leann Coleman of Lorado; two daughters and their husbands, Sheila and Jim Robertson of Paragould and Shelley and Jeff Chaplain of Brookland; a brother and his wife, Elvis Lee and Debbie McDole of Lorado; nine grandchildren, Atley Jade Robertson, Chase Robertson, Blake Robertson all of Paragould, Ashton Chaplain, Brocton Chaplain and Jeffery Chaplain of Brookland, Cortney Lee, Ashley Lee and Nitichia Lee all of Lorado; a great grandchild, Brooke Wicker of Lorado; a nephew, Kevin McDole and a niece, Carrie West.
She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Lenora McDole.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with Mike Wells and Charles Stoddard officiating. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Donnie Carter, Ronnie Carter, David Dancer, Mike Taylor, Travis Shearer, Delbert Moody and Kenneth Carter.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Shelley, I only knew your mom thru Sharon and the boys, seeing her at the ballgames, but Sharon always spoke of her in such a special way. I understand losing a parent and the days will be long. Try to fill them with all the loving, funny memories to help you get thru the difficult times ahead. You and all your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
