Donald Wayne Crow 64, of Clinton passed away August 27, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents Billie Truman Crow & Jettie Faye Jolly Crow. Survivors include wife Sarah Griggs Crow of 45years, daughter Connie Smith & husband David Smith; son Billy Don Crow & wife Meggin; grandchildren Allison Smith and Weston Smith; sisters Carolyn Mathis & husband Tom; Nancy Bennett and brother Sam Crow & wife Doris along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Don was involved in the Gideons, member of Clinton City Council for 20 plus years and was a Deacon of the Friendship Baptist Church. He loved camping, retirement and most of all his family.
Visitations are Friday evening from 6-8pm at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home and services are 10:00am Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Friendship Baptist Church with burial in the Dennard Cemetery with Larry Loggins and Tom Jolly officiating. He was always kind and friendly from the time I first came to know him at Petit Jean Electric some 30 years ago. He will be greatly missed by our community and all that knew him. Don and my mom worked together for over 30 years. I have known Don all my life and he was a good friend and a GREAT person. Connie, your dad will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Our prayers are with your family.
