...a little late. I had a couple of classes with Dick at UCA. He was very good company, bright, and fun to be with.

Jane,
I just wanted you to know my thougths and prayers will continue to be with you as they have been over the past 2 weeks and the months before that praying for your dad. I have many memories of Dicky when we were growing up - we kept him on his toes! He will be missed as a friend and doctor to many. The memories that you have of him that make you smile and laugh are the ones that will keep his memory alive forever and help you get through the pain.
With heartfelt sympathy to your whole family,

Our prayers are extended to your family in this time of loss. May God bless you.

Dear Hendrickson Family, I knew Dickey as a classmate at UAMS 1967-71. We shared many good times as well as stressful times during that period. He was one of my favorite classmates. Since we were both H's, we were close toghter in labs, etc and got to know each other. Sadly, in practice we all tend to lose those special early relationships. I know from reading the many messages, he was a wonderful man and physician. My sincerest condolences. Ray H Hall Jr MD NEA Clinic Jonesboro, Arkansas

Dr. Hendrickson was a kind man and much loved by all his patients. He will be terribly missed. Our love and prayers are with the family.

I was in Ireland when I heard of Dick's death...I shed many tears for the loss of such a dear, special friend and for each of you dear family members. Then I celebrated his life with a shot of Irish Potcheen. Selfishly, I miss Dick like crazy, but unselfishly I am glad that he is at peace, free of pain. Dick will always be "THE KING!" to me. love to all of you.... jane ann harper

Becky, Richard and all family of my very good friend
Dickie Hendrickson,
Dick took the time to come to office afterhours for me and he took time after hours to give me encouraging words that I will always remember. Elaine and I have already missed Dick very much and talked about him and thought about the Hendrickson family, who have been involved very much in our lifes since 1961.
He was one very kind and caring person and Elaine and I will miss him very much. I know each of you will place your trust in God as you have in the past.

I was so saddened to read about Dr. Hendrickson. He was on of my favorite clients when I sold for 3M. I always enjoyed his company and respected him so much as a caring physician and surgeon. The world has lost someone very special.

Dr. Hendrickson was a wonderful man. My husband and his twin brother were both born blind in their left eyes. He gave them both the gift of perfect vision. He also blessed us with a true friend, his lovely daughter Jane Ann. Our condolences go out to his family. He will be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss and will be in prayer for your family during this trying time. We loved him as so many did. In Christ's love, Virginia and Bill Clements

We are all praying for your family in these hard times. In the few times I was priveleged to meet "Dickie", I could see that he had a great love for life and for his family.

Dear Annette, You don't know us but Rufus Hawk is our brother-in-law. Angeline and I are sisters. She and Rufus thought the world of Dicky. Donna Sue Rodgers is one of my dear friends; we graduated from high school together. I just want you to know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers today.

As one of Dr. Hendrickson's patients, I owe him a great deal. He found a tiny spot on my eye that was later diagnosed as a malignant melanoma. Because he caught it in its early stages, I received treatment in time. I will always remember Dr. Hendrickson because I may owe him my life.

A great man and inspiration to all in the medical community!

Dr. Hendrickson was the best employer. I worked for him from 1980 to 1985, until my husband graduated from college and we moved to Osceola. He was the most caring and compassionate person. I will miss him dearly. My regrets to all the family. Sincerely, Sharron Shaffer

Dicky and I walked to kindergarden together, shot each other with bb guns, and had much fun with each other. Then we grew up, and he became a fine doctor, and my family and I became his patients.
Rest well, old friend, I will miss you.

Annette, It is times like this when words fail us. Dickie meant so much to such a vast group of friends, patients and family. It is a huge loss to us all. We have enjoyed our friendship and travels with you and will always remember the memories made with "The Back of the Bus Group", especially New England.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family as you struggle through these trying days and the ones to come. Please know that we are here for you and will help in any way we can.
May God bless and comfort you.

DR. HENDRICKSON was a wonderful doctor, he treated his patients as family. Our prayers go out to the HENDRICKSON family.God will guide you through this difficult time.

Dicky was one of my "after school dance students". He was 2 years younger than me, but everyone knew him and loved him. Then he became my eye Dr. but still my friend. God needed Dicky in Heaven at this time and only He knows our time. I know he will be missed by many. Joy my prayers are with you and the family at this time.

Joy & Family:
My prayers are with you

It is a comfort to know that he is dancing in heaven with no pain and no cancer. I will never forget him missing his lunch for me when I was 11 years old to do emergency surgery on my eye. You would have never known that I ruined his day and made him miss lunch. He took care of my eyes another 20 years after that and was the absolute BEST! He will be missed by so many friends and patients. He will never be duplicated and certainly could never be replaced. With much love! Stoney, Gray, Tripp, and Griff Wagnon

To the Hendrickson Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Hillis, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad was a good man and made many many good friends. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

A few years ago Dicky and I were standing in the Conway Memorial Hospital looking at an old aerial photograph of Conway. In the course of our conversation Dicky said "We built this City". We both laughed and I thought to myself that in a small way he was right. I grew up in a great town in a wonderful time surrounded by the best neighbors imaginable. I truly don't think I could have asked for it to be any better. Much love to you all.
Little Billy

Dear Annette,
I'll always cherish the wonderful memories from the trip to the Canadian Capital Cities in the summer of 2006. From the laughs and jokes on the long bus rides to the glorious day on the "Maid of the Mist" -- all joyous times that I will keep close to my heart. Having met both of you on this trip made it all that much more fun, and I am so very blessed to have had the chance to know both of you.
