Robert Wayne Motes, 50, Batesville formerly of Mtn. View entered into rest on May 8, 2008 at Batesville.

Mr. Motes was born April 18, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to Alvie and Wilma (Hines) Motes.

He worked as a pipefitter and was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother.

He is survived by his former wife, Donna Motes; one daughter, Keechia Muse of Truman, Ark.; three sons, Shannon Motes of Mtn. View, Kyle Motes of Batesville, and Brian Motes in Germany; his parents, Alvie and Wilma Motes of Mtn. View; four brothers, James Motes of Springdale, Jessie Motes and Larry Motes both of Mtn. View, and Marty Motes of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Vicky Watkins and Roberta Wilkins both of Mtn. View and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Motes.

Funeral service was Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with Bro. Allen Brown officiating and interment in Lighthouse Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Sam Parker, Larry Kull, Steve Lay, Mark Bassett, Bob Harjo and Tim Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Pratt and David Browder.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
