I know Mr. Shaver will truly be missed. I never saw him when he wasn't smiling.

Dear Amy and Family..So sorry..When I first joined the WRHS Board, Carl took me under his wing and was my mentor the entire time. I sat by him at every meeting. When he spoke, we all listened. I never heard him say a negative word about anyone, nor did I ever hear a negative word about him. Someday, hopefully, I will sit by his side again, and he can continue his mentoring. Dick

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the privilege of serving on the board of Help and Hope with Carl. He was an incredibly positive, generous, and warm person. Batesville is a better place for all he did as a volunteer, and those who knew him have been inspired by his character.

I just want everyone to know that I am thinking of you so much. I look forward to being with you, my family, in a month or so. I'm so blessed to have had Grandaddy in my life.

My condolance to family and friends. Clota
