October 13, 1971 - March 16, 2008

Marci Crocheron, 36, a loving and devoted mother, friend and lifelong resident of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2008, after a brief illness.

Marci attended Central High School, then matriculated into UALR on a full scholarship, and continued to further her education by attending UAMS School of Nursing. Marci's greatest accomplishment in life and the thing that she was most proud of was of being a stay at home mom and seeing to Nicholas' every need. If you knew Marci, you not only loved her but adored her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Crocheron.

Marci is survived by her son, Nicholas Upton and his dad, Todd Upton; mother, Bonnie Crocheron; brother, Bubba Case, uncle, George O. Jernigan; aunt, Bree Ennaco and grandmother, Peggy Davidson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, March 20, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300. Celebrant will be the Rev. Dr. Rick Ward-Harder.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

She was my best friend when no one else was there. She expected me as part of her family. Our parents was friends for years. My favorite memories of Marci is when Nicholas was 3 yrs old she bought Nicholas a big ride on train for Christmas we spent all night long putting sticker on the train and talked. Her ocd was so bad at 2 am she would Place a sticker on then pull it off again reset then do again we did that for 40mins. Everything had to be perfect. Nicholas was the only 4 yr old with his own game Cube and was able to play all the games like he was 10yrs old. That was hard teaching a 4 yrs to play super Mario Bros,a and Luigi mansion, but we did it.

I am at a loss of words over the news of Marci's death. She was absolutely brillant. I went to school with her all the way through graduation, she was so smart in Jr. High that she skipped a grade and went on to get a full scholarship for college. I just saw her and spoke to her two months ago right in front of her and her mothers home. Bonnie, My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. I know this is devastating. I am physically ill over this news.

Four summers ago, I remember meeting Marci, for the very first time. It was on a pleasant, hot summer day at our neighborhood pool when she approached me and kindly introduced herself. Soon after, we had talked for hours, days, months, and years which developed into a very close and special friendship. We had experienced many enjoyable memories that I will always cherish in my heart and soul. The warmth of her smile, sound of her laugh, and comfort of her presence will truly be missed. Bonnie, Buba, and Nicholas, and family please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathies for the sudden and unexpected loss of Marci. My heart goes out to little Nicholas as I know how much he loved his mommy. May god bless you with peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time of great sorrow.

Dear Bonnie & Bubba, I want to convey my deepest sympathy for your loss. I came to know Marci through her longtime friendship with my sister Kim Honea. They were the best of friends for as long as I can remember, and it wasn't long before I realized that I went to school with Bubba. We would get together on occasions just to talk and catch up on everyone's life. Kim and I have spent many hours talking about all the things she and Marci did together over the years and what a wonderful friend Marci was to her. Marci will stay in our hearts forever and be remembered always by her smile and love of life. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
