Warren Frank Hadley, 79, of Clarksville died on Monday, February 18, 2008 at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville. He was born on July 24, 1928, in Hamburg, New York to the late Horace and Gladys Mae (Worden). He was a three time war veteran, serving in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He spent 23 ½ years in the Army. After retiring from the Army, he worked for the Moreno Valley School District as a bus mechanic and driver plus he was the only grounds maintenance employee that took care of all the grounds equipment. He retired from there after fifteen years. He and his wife moved to beautiful Arkansas in 1993.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Darlene Hadley; one son, Mark K. Hadley and his wife, Michelle, of Fairbanks, Alaska; one sister, Maxine Tanner of Franklinville, New York; one brother, Lewis Hadley and his wife, Doris, of Olean, New York; and one granddaughter, Mariah N. Hadley of Reno, Nevada.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2008. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2008 at the East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church in Clarksville with Brother Robbie Jackson officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville (479) 754-2201.
Casket Bearers will be Eldon Scoggins, Louie Leeds, Doyal Jordan, Carl Curtis, Sammy Freeland, and Larry Morgan.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank their wonder friends and neighbors, Les and Madine Stone, their angles, including Brother Robbie Jackson, their wonderful pastor at East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church in Clarksville, as well as Jim and Freda Cole, Carol and Archie Yandell, and Tammy Wood and Debbie, her sister.
