Flo Evonne Eilers of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to heaven Thursday morning, January 3, 2008 after fighting Wegener's Granulomatosis Disease for two years.
She leaves her loving husband of 34 years, Herman Eilers and her six children, Margo Patterson (Roy), Renee Pledger (Steve), Clayton Burnett (Cindy), Monica Palmer (Brent), Michael "Tony" Eilers (Bonnie) and Tammera Blacklaw (Gary) along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her four special friends that she called her brother and sisters, Robert and Nancy Siegler and Billy and Judy Eason.
Evonne was born July 27, 1940 to Theadore and Floy Harris. She was the salutatorian of her graduating class at Joe T. Robinson High School of 1958 and was a very active basketball player.
Evonne was retired from Borden Dairy, after 32 years of service as an Accounting Assistant. She was also retired from Stephens, Inc. after ten years of service as an Administrative Assistant to Stephens Group. Evonne was a very active member at Calvary Church of the Nazarene as the church treasurer, ladies ministries director and church decorator.
Family will receive friends Friday, January 4, 2008, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR (501) 455-5800. Funeral services will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 10325 West 36th Street, Little Rock, AR. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.

Margo, Renee, Clayton, Monica and Herms - so sorry to hear of Evonne's death. I have fond memories of her from the neighborhood and also espeically from my wedding. Dear Herman and Monica, Ted and I were so sorry to hear of the death of your precious mother. She was so active when we were all worshipping together, and I will always remember her smile and fun-loving ways. May you know that we will keep you in our prayers during this very difficult time.
Evonne has been such a Blessing to both me and Mother. We will miss her much. I know she is in a better place now just waiting for us, and she will have it decorated up for us. She is leaving a big void in our church that no-one can fill. Trips to Branson just won't be the same without her. Margo, Monica, and Renee just want ya'll to know that I'll share my Mom with you. We love all of you so much. Heaven is rejoicing with her homecoming.
Monica, Brent, Whitney and Family--There are no words to express our sympathy in the loss of your mother and grandmmother. Take this time to remember all the great times you have shared and laugh, cry and enjoy the memories because she is now enjoying heaven. Herman and family Evonne held a special place in my heart. She was like a member of the family when we were growing up. My Daddy tagged her his other daughter.
