Arlis Fay Horne, 85 of Midway, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born September 13, 1922 in Midway, Arkansas to his parents, Reed and Lily (Pridgin) Horne. He was a carpenter and a veteran of World War II in the Army and received five bronze stars for his service in the European Theatre. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bradford Horne and first wife, Emma Jean Horne.
Survivors include wife, Claudean (South) Horne of sixteen years; two sons, Arlis Horne, Jerry Horne; sister, Wilene Collins; grandson, Adam Horne; great grandson, Adrian Horne.
Service was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2007 in the Roller Chapel-Paris with burial in the Horne Cemetery-Midway with Rev. Robert Adams, officiating.
Pallbearers: Don Parker, Harold Dean Davidson, Gene Davis, James Smith, Bobby Brannon, Adam Horne.
