William Thomas Corter, 80, Mountain View entered into rest Oct. 9, 2007 in Mountain View. He was born January 27, 1927 in Independence County, Arkansas to Henry and Rosie (Honeycutt) Corter.
He was a member of the Dugan Pentecostal Church. He was a timber worker, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by sons; Lonnie Corter and wife Cindy and Donnie Corter and wife Sabrina all of Mtn. View; grandchildren; Michael Blankenship, Donna Rorie, William Corter, Albert Corter, Rachel Ida Corter, Chris Cantrell, Trish Tharp, Emma Corter, Junior Corter and Purcy Corter; fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Burgass Corter; his parents, four brothers, Jess, Leonard, Everett and Junior Corter and three sisters, Ollie, Rosie and Edna.
Visitation is 6 8 p.m., October 11, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is at Dugan Pentecostal Church, Mountain View, Arkansas, Friday, October 12, 2007, 2:00 P.M.
Sister Barbara Bullard is officiating with interment in Mount Joy Cemetery, Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Randy Rorie, Jr., Jamie Vickers, Michael Blankenship, Mark Williamson, Michael Golden and Aaron Collins. Honorary pallbearers are Purcy Corter, Junior Corter, William Corter and Albert Corter.
