Theo Wallace Mann

Theo W. Mann, 91, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away July 18, 2004. Mr. Mann was born November 13, 1912 in Alexander, the son of Seth B. and Minnie L. “Polk” Mann. He was a member of Vimy Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 52 years, a 50-year member of Adoniram Lodge # 288, F&AM and Adoniram O.E.S. #604 and served as a trustee of the McPherson Cemetery Board. He retired from Reynolds Power House in 1975. Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his wife, Maye Reed Mann; daughter, Sylvia Lois Ray; and son, Lewis Burnett Mann. Survivors include his wife, Elsa Mann, daughter, Shirley Williams, ten grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Vimy Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dennis Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at McPherson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home. Open viewing beginning at 5:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
