79 OF Paris, Arkansas died May 1, 2006 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on July 27, 1926 in Parkin, Arkansas to his parents, Perry and Nina (Boddie) Alexander. He was a retired Track Forman for Missouri Pacific Railroad, and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Preceding him in death: parents, daughter, Rose Ella Brown, two sons, James Willis Alexander, Sr. and Edward Lynn King.

     Survivors include wife, Mae Alexander of Paris; six daughters, Barbara Norris of West Helena, AR, Peggy Norris of Clarendon, AR, Patsy Strode of West Memphis, AR, Phyllis Vining of Hot Springs, AR, Anne King and Tollie Scott of Paris; four sons, Bobby Alexander of Paris, Ricky Alexander of Maumelle, AR, Thomas King and Ronald King of Paris; one brother, Marvin Alexander of Parkin, AR; 27 Grandchildren; 45 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

     Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2006, Roller Chapel-Paris  burial in the Baxley Cemetery-Paris with the Rev. Kenny Maness, Officiating.

     Pallbearers James and Johnny Peu8gh, Mack Eagle, Todd Norris, Robbie and Steven Vining.

     Honorary Pallbearers were Nurses from Fort Smith Dialysis Center.

     Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2006, Roller Chapel-Paris.
