Ellenor Garland, 84, of Benton died Monday, April 24, 2006 at Benton Healthcare. She was born August 21, 1921 to the late Paul and Ruby Harrison. She was married to the late Dr. D. David Garland. Mrs. Garland was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas and had a long career in education as a teacher. Survivors include her daughter, Jane Ellen and husband Larry Crumby of Benton; son, David M. Garland of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Dorothy Weathers of Dayton, OH; brother-in-laws, Jack Garland and wife Carole, Lanier Garland and wife Joyce, and Ken Garland and wife Margaret; grandchildren, Kristie Turbyfill and husband Daniel, Angie Crumby and fiancé Steven Geater, Megan Burbank and husband Michael, Addyson Garland, and Grayson Garland, and great grandchildren, Katelyn Hamilton, Kinley Turbyfill, Cade Turbyfill, and Parker Burbank and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Forest Hill Midtown Chapel in Memphis, Tennessee with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening April 26th at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (501-315-4047). Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
