Joe T. Wilson  of Harrison, AR
May 22, 1962 - November 26, 2017 Joe T. "Tommy"¯ Wilson, age 55, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Hospice of Hills Hospice House in Harrison. He was born May 22, 1962, in Bakersfield, California, the son of Joe Dean and Betty A. (Barrett) Wilson. Along with his grandparents, Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Betty A. (Barrett) Brisco.
Tommy was of the Christian faith and attended First Baptist Church of Valley Springs. He spent most of his life in the Harrison area. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1981 and joined the Army after graduation. He was employed by Eastman Booth in Harrison. Tommy enjoyed hunting, fishing, the beautiful Ozark scenery and dancing with his wife Jetty. Tommy married Jetty December 31, 2016.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Jetty (Arnett) Wilson; his parents, Joe and Jayne Wilson; his step-dad Verlin Jr. Brisco; his daughter and her fianceā€™, Theresa R. Wilson and Cody Johnson; his step-son, Anthony Aguirre and wife Jennifer; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Samuel D. and Amy Wilson, Timothy A. and Merri Wilson, Brett and Alexandra Hendrickson and Grant VanVeldhuizen; his grandchildren, Madison and Jayde Aguirre; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service was 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. James Bryant officiating.
Pallbearers were Anthony Keele, Chris Diffey, Grant VanVeldhuizen, Ike Sutton, Keith Williams and Donnie Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Steve Speaker and the staff of Hospice of the Hills.
Interment was in Plumlee Cemetery.
