John Raymond Durkee  of Paris, AR
August 7, 1952 - December 3, 2016 John Raymond Durkee, 64 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on August 7, 1952 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to his parents George and Rose (Strobel) Durkee. He worked as a Quality Control Manager in the Nuclear Industry and was a United States Navy Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Rose (Strobel) Durkee.
He is survived by his wife, Sally (Kauer) Durkee of Paris, Arkansas; two daughters, Emily Durkee of New York City, New York and Martha Durkee of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one son, Josef Durkee and wife Jordan of Pasco, Washington; two sisters, Chris Durkee of Subiaco and Barbara Durkee of Subiaco; one brother, George Durkee and wife Carol of Paris and three granddaughters.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco with burial of cremated remains to follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 301 North 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
