Teresa Marie Geels, 79 of Subiaco, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. She was born on June 29, 1937 in Norwich, Kansas to her parents, Clarence and Hazel (Merkle) Timmermeyer. She was retired from Subiaco Academy where she worked as the secretary in the Alumni Office and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and Little Creek Country Club.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hazel (Merkle) Timmermeyer; her husband, Fabian John Geels; five brothers, and five sisters.

Teresa is survived by her four daughters, Tina Engels of Arlington Heights, Illinois, Terri Tarzi and husband Frank of Plano, Texas, Rene Kiefer of Clarksville, Arkansas and Colleen Geels and boyfriend Jorge Garza of Clarksville, Arkansas; three sons, Ronald Geels and wife Lisa of McKinney, Texas, Gary Geels of Coppell, Texas and Gregory Geels and wife Sunny of Princeton, Texas; one sister, Sister Ruth Timmermeyer of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Robert Timmermeyer of Wichita, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Rosary service will be held at 7:45 p.m., on Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery in Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Bailey Steverson, Tamara Glover, Thomas Kiefer, Derek Geels, Mitchell Kiefer and Vincent Tarzi.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Engels, Kyle Engels, David Geels, Rachael Geels, Mary Campbell, Danielle Geels and Anthony Tarzi.
