Vera C. Caviness, age 74, of Pyatt, Arkansas passed away Friday. March 20, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Caviness was born in Jay Bird, Arkansas on August 15, 1940 to the late Clive and Ruth (Holmes) Fisk. She was a lifetime resident of Marion County, a homemaker, and a member of Pyatt Full Gospel Church.

Vera is survived by three sons: Dean Caviness (Penny), of Pyatt, Arkansas; Nathanial “Bub” Caviness (Tina), of Yellville, Arkansas;
William “Willie” Caviness (Kayleen), of Everton, Arkansas;

three daughters: Jean Belding (Don) of Pyatt, Arkansas;
Becky Caviness of Yellville;
Janie Blair (Tony) of Everton, Arkansas;

two brothers: Keith Fisk of Pyatt, Arkansas;
John Fisk of Cowiche, Washington;

two sisters: Judy Friend of Bergman, Arkansas;
Jane Stiles of Pyatt, Arkansas;

thirteen grandchildren;

and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil, in 2012;
a sister, Betty Moore;
and a brother, Ken Fisk.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Brent Fisk officiating.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to services, at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Locust Cemetery in Monarch, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Roy Caviness, John Caviness, Hank Caviness, Dillion Caviness, Travis, Caviness, and Seth Caviness.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Henderson, Sam Caviness, Dakota Caviness, and Isaac Caviness.
