Juanita Rose (Stanfill) Purifoy, 66 of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 in New Blaine. She was born on November 8, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Grady Meryl and Rose Beatrice (Beal) Stanfill. She was a retired LPN from Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Grady Meryl and Rose Beatrice Stanfill and three brothers, Tommy Stanfill, Bill Stanfill and Ernest Stanfill.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years Larry Douglas Purifoy of New Blaine, Arkansas; one daughter, Vicki Harris of Munford, Tennessee; one son, John Purifoy of New Blaine, Arkansas; one brother Grady Stanfill of Tennessee and one granddaughter, Scarlett Rose Harris of Munford, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco officiated by Fr. Aaron Pirrera O.S.B. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

In lieu of flower memorial contributions may be made to Subiaco Abbey and Academy, 405 North Subiaco Ave., Subiaco, AR 72865.
