March 1, 1939 - July 27, 2014 Doyce Gene Stevenson, 75, of Damascus, AR passed from this life on July 27, 2014. He was born on March 1, 1939 to the late Roy and Vivian Holland Stevenson in Damascus, AR. Doyce was a member of the Masons Doric Lodge 471, a Baptist by faith, and had retired from Nabholz Construction. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Doyce is survived by his loving wife of 54 years; Wincie Hutchins Stevenson, their children; Doug Stevenson (Regina), Carlos Stevenson (Robbie), and Melanie Crider (Doug), eight grandchildren; Jonathan Stevenson, Dustin Stevenson, Hampton Stevenson, Cole Crider, Samantha Smith, Lane Crider, Kristen Reed, and Aaron Stevenson, seven great-grandchildren, three sisters; Roby Burdin, Kay Ivy, and Susan Jordan, one brother; Glen Stevenson, and a host of other family members and friends.
He is also preceded in death by his two siblings; Johnny Stevenson and Bernice Linn.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, AR with burial to follow with Masonic Rites at Pine Mountain Cemetery in Damascus. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Funeral Home on Monday evening.
