Isac Eugene Jones

April 10, 1925 - March 4, 2013 Isac Eugene "Gene" Jones age 87 of Harrison, Arkansas was called home on Monday, March 04, 2013 at the Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison. He was born in Marsena, Arkansas on April 10, 1925 to William Jennings Brian Jones and Pearl Bohannon Jones.
Gene married the late Gerotha Lucille "Cil" Taylor on July 12, 1946. He was a retired Dozer Operator. He spent his days with his beloved wife until she passed and then he spent his time watching the cows, riding his mule with his best dog "Sam" and going places with his family. Gene enjoyed camping with his close friends, Janie and Clifton Griffin. He spent many hours telling old stories and spoiling all of his nieces and nephews.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, "Cil" Jones; his parents, Brian and Pearl Jones; three sisters, Gurthie Griffin, Nelda Bryant and Artalee Bernice Jones Hogue; four brothers, Garvin Thomas Jones, Dolph Ray Jones, Rube Jones and Wilburn Jay Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
His is survived by his brother-in-law, HW Taylor and wife June; one sister-in-law, Alberta Jones; his nieces and nephews, Fredia Mulanax and husband Jim, Teresa Smith and husband Lester, Gearld Taylor and wife Cindy, Cretia Biggs and husband Larry, Janice McDaniel, Duane Griffin and wife Kathy, Ancil Jones and wife Laverne, Sylvia Miller, Brenda Gilbert and husband Bill, Joe Jones and wife Pat, Gayle Funderberk, Phyllis Nishino, Debbie Williams and husband Lowell, Patsy Hogue and Jack Hogue and wife Terrie; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services for Gene will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 06, 2013 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Jackie Smithson and Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 05, 2013 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Dongola Cemetery near Snowball.
Pallbearers will be Lester Smith, Jim Mulanax, Gearld Taylor, Larry Biggs, Nathan Mulanax, Landon Smith, Laith Smith, Lendel Smith and Taylor Biggs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Jones, Duane Griffin, Ancil Jones, Charles McDaniel, Elton Smith, Ardith Smith, Jerry Don Smith and JC Campbell.
