Kathy Ilene Dodson, age 59, of Harrison, died at her home January 15, 2013. She was born September 16, 1953, in Harrison, the daughter of Mitchell and Newell (Freeman) Dodson. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother.

Kathy attended the Church of Christ. She worked for many years at Dollar General Store in Harrison. She also worked as a Tom's Candy route sales rep for the schools and had worked as a hairdresser after high school. She enjoyed horses when she was growing up. Kathy traveled often to Bryant, Arkansas to spoil her grandchildren!

Surviving Kathy are her father, Mitchell Dodson, of Bass; two sons, Brad Henson and wife Allyson of Bryant, AR and Brent Henson of Harrison; grandchildren, Dakoda Henson, Alexis Henson and Brady Henson; her sister, Wanda Spencer, of Harrison; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation was Friday, January 18, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Services were Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Dodson Church of Christ at Bass, AR.

Interment was in McCutchen Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Brent Henson, Brad Henson, Dakoda Henson, Bart Hamilton, Jerry Henson, Mike Kranz and Ronnie Castleberry.

Honorary pallbearers were Brady Henson, David Spencer, Clovis Freeman, William Freeman, Jeff Freeman, Lloyd Freeman, Seth Freeman, Tony Wade, Doug Davis, JR Dodson, Quinton Dodson and Bill House.
