Harry "Herbie" Herbert Prout

August 7, 1931 - August 1, 2012 Mr. Harry Herbert "Herbie" Prout 80, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born August 7, 1931 at Villa Park, Illinois to the late Herbert L. and Kathrine (Loose) Prout.
Herbie was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was the owner operator of Prout Garage.
Herbie was a wonderful husband, father, friend, and neighbor. He always would take the time to help anyone no matter the day of the week or hour of the day. While his business at Prout Garage was his livelyhood, he loved to work the earth on his farm. You could always find him on a tractor in one of his fields using the bush hog, plowing a potato patch or building a fence. He loved to be out on the farm with a chain saw clearing ground and plotting his next road to have Kenny build. While his family meant the world to him, he died doing what he loved most..... Working to his last second.
He will be missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and step-mother, Elaine (Cox) Prout.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Hannah Franziska (Heizer) Prout of the home, two sons, Thomas Luke and Sharon Prout, and Daniel Jay and Debby Prout both of Clinton, AR; two grandsons, Jonathan Prout and Jacob Prout, two sisters, Peg Kindig of Ohio; and Ann Dooley of Florida; and many close friends.
Family will Gather with Friends at 9:30am Saturday, August 4, 2012 and Memorial Service will be at 10:00am at Plant Baptist Church Clinton, Arkansas with Pastors David Williams and Alan Rolan officiating.
Private family inurnment at a later date.
