Naomia Avanell Babson, 83, of Clarksville, went to be with her heavenly father, July 31, 2012. She was born August 23, 1928, in Macon, Missouri, to the late Willis and Emma (Compton) Christy. She loved to cook and worked alongside her husband, in their family business, for many years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Frank Babson; a son, Ronnie Babson; two brothers; and four sisters.

Mrs. Babson is survived by three sons, Gary, Daniel “Boone” and Chris; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Joe Black; 14 grandchildren, Terry, Kenny, David, Teresa, LeAnn, Cody, Kylie, Christal, Josh, Brandi, Chelsia, Blake, Jaye and Megan; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Babson’s funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012, in the Chapel of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Winston May and Joshua Bazyk officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Blake Babson, Joshua Bazyk, Cody Black, Paul Harris, Brian Henderson, Robert Mayfield and Jeremy Avaritt.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Warnock, Winston May, Clint Shockley, Beau Shockley, Brigham Shockley and Hunter Shockley
