Maude Faye Stringer, age 93, of Harrison, died at her home Saturday, June 16, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 8, 1919, at Snowball, AR, the daughter of George and Sarah Manns. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold L. Stringer; a son, Donald Ray Branison; and a sister, Mae Hurd.

Mrs. Stringer was retired and spent the last many years as a homemaker with her sons here in Harrison. She had spent many years working for Harrison Nursing Home and in her earlier years had been employed by J. Lloyd Shouse, a local attorney.

Maude is survived by three sons, Sigel, Denzell and Johnny Stringer, all of Harrison; two grandsons, Barry Branison and Steve Robison; six great grandchildren; and a host of other family and many dear friends.

Visitation was Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Services were Friday, June 22, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Rev. Freddy Evans officiating.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
