Harry W, Climer, 85, of Proctor, died Tuesday Oct. 25, 2011 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis,TN. Mr. Climer was a Hotel Manager for Holiday Inns, a Baptist and was the owner operator of Climers Kennels , and a WWII U.S. Army Veteran who witnessed the signing of the peace treaty with Japan.

Mr. Climer was preceded in death by his wife Clara Ruth Climer, he is survived by his daughter, Sherree Johnson of Olive Branch, MS.; sons Harry Lynn Climer of Southaven, MS,: Terry Wayne Climer of Proctor, AR., five sisters, Doris Rainey of RoEllen,. TN; Evelyn Kelly of Nauvoo, TN, Christine LaRue and Liz Taylor both of Chicago, Il.; Dorothy Tibbs of Halls, TN.; two brothers Bill Climer of Dyersburg, TN.; Raymond Climer of Greenville, S.C.; five grandchildren , Brooke Shannon, Tim Climer, Mallory Johnson, Carrie Hoffman and Charles Bryan Climer, and six great grandchildren, Ryan Climer, Alyssa Climer, Blake Climer, Emma Grace Climer, Cooper Shannon and Emerson Shannon.

Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2011 from 12:00 P.M til service time at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.

Services will be Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with Entombment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.
