Orville Warren Speck, 89, Of Frenchmans Bayou, entered into rest Friday, September 23, 2011 in Osceola. Born March 20, 1922 to the late Clarence C. Speck and Elizabeth Weatherford Speck, he as member of Joiner United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot during WWII, a retired Farmer of Mississippi County. He also served on the South Mississippi County School Board for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and an avid hunter, fisherman and loved golf. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Speck; two sons: Peyton Speck and wife: Rhonda and Bruce Speck of Frenchmans Bayou; one daughter: Susan Sumners of Austin, TX; 10 grandchildren; one sister: Glaydis Speck Haytt of Batesville, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Alice Elizabeth Speck and seven brothers and sisters.
