Golda Tucker Swaim, 86, of Huff, Arkansas died Friday, July 15, 2011 at a local nursing home.
She was born April 10, 1925 in Rosie, Arkansas and was the daughter of George Tucker and Della Roberts Tucker.
She was a homemaker and also worked at Arkansas Poultry in Batesville over 20 years. She enjoyed visiting family and friends. Golda was a member of Swaim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at Huff.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Swaim of Huff; daughter, Gloria Dean Lucy Galloway of Huff; four grandchildren, Bobby Finley, James Finley, Shane Swaim and Rusty Swaim; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Georgia Chastain of Kilgore, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Swaim, four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18 at Swaim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Swan and Bro. Ervin Gould officiating.
Burial will be at Kyler Cemetery by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers are Bobby Finley, James Finley, Shane Swaim, Rusty Swaim, Cody Swaim, Dylan Swaim, Eric Haertling, and Cameron Scott.
Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
