Robert J. Lancaster 85, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 16, 2010. His wife Joan and his children who loved him were at his side.

Bob was born August 5, 1924 in Imlay City, Michigan to the late James Isaac and Gladys B. (Trott) Lancaster.

Bob was an active member of the Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church. He attended Purdue University and Indiana University and served as Lieutenant in the United States Army AirCorp as Pilot of B-17's. Serving in Europe and North Africa. He was a Member of the Fairfield Bay Rotary Club and the Fairfield Bay Shriners Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joan and an infant son, James.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Joan Jean (Smith) Lancaster, his twins, Carol Jo and Ted Rowland Stealey of Overland Park, Kansas; and Craig and Jill J. Lancaster of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Brian Michael Lancaster, James Robert Stealey, Benjamin Craig Lancaster, and Casey Jo Stealey Atkins, three great-grandchildren, Brendon Lancaster, Benjamin Lancaster, and Riley Lancaster, three step-grandchildren, Michelle and James Sunkle, Melissa Ridenhour, and Ty Ridenhour, three step-great grandchildren, Dylan, Kody, and Brooklyn Ridenhour, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Service 2:00pm Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church.

Cremation Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
