William Dean Mooney, 83, of Hartman, Arkansas died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at his home. He was born on Wednesday, May 12, 1926, in Johnson Co., Arkansas, to the late Walter and Bonnie (Frost) Mooney. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Hartman Baptist Church.

Dean leaves behind his wife, Teresa; one daughter, Linda Martin of Clarksville, Arkansas; four sons, Mike Mooney of Clarksville, Arkansas, Randy Mooney and his wife, Debby, of Hartman, Arkansas, Bobby Mooney and his wife, Rhonda, of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Donny Mooney of Lamar, Arkansas; three sisters, Mary Lambert of Clarksville, Arkansas, Betty Corrigeux of Washington, and Bonnie Darlington of Guatemala; one brother, Walter Fayne Mooney of Hartman, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Leonard Mooney, Marvin Mooney, Dwayne Mooney, Roy Joe Mooney, two sisters Mildred Pitts and Mabel Mooney; two grandsons Sammy Martin, Jr. and Colton Chrisman.

The family will receive friends during visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Roller Cox Funeral Home Clarksville, Arkansas.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Hartman Baptist Church, Hartman, Arkansas. Burial will be at the Lone Pine Cemetery, Clarksville, Arkansas. Brother Grady Glass will officiate.

The Pallbearer are Mark Mooney, Michael Don Mooney, Adam Chrisman, Matthew Snow, Walter Fayne Mooney, and Jazz Johnston.

The Honorary Pallbearers are Cory Mooney, Tim Mooney, Alex McLaughlin, Ralph Spencer and Loyd Bailey.
