Forrest L. Carpenter
of Horseshoe Lake, AR January 27, 1942 - May 6, 2009 Forrest L. Carpenter, 67, of Horseshoe Lake, AR, passed away Wednesday May 6, 2009 at his residence in Horseshoe Lake. He was an Air Force Veteran and was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Carpenter Graham and by his parents, Brinson Whitney Carpenter, Sr. and Hattie Lee (Stephenson) Carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Carpenter of Horseshoe Lake, AR; two sons, Bruce Carpenter and Brian Carpenter, both of West Memphis, AR; his brother, Brinson Whitney Carpenter, Jr. of Olive Branch, MS; two sisters, Brenda C. O'Steen and Elizabeth C. Fields, both of Bartlett, TN; his grandson, Austin Carpenter; two brother-in-laws, David Climer and wife Kandy of Humboldt, TN and Richard Climer, also of Humboldt, TN and his nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Friday May 8, 2009 from 10:00 A.M.-12 Noon at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR with a memorial service following at noon in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
