Eugene (Gene) Victor Moore

October 8, 1949 - November 20, 2004

   Eugene (Gene) Victor Moore, Jr. age 55 of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 20, 2004.  He was born October 8, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Eugene and Marie Rhine Moore.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Moore Linthacum of Sinton, Texas.  Gene served in the United States Air Force from 1969 -1973.  He was employed by ARKLA Gas Company from 1974 -1998 and B.R. McGinty from 1998 to the present.  Gene was always kind hearted, humble, strong, optimistic and never complained about the pain and agony that he suffered throughout his fight with cancer.

   He is survived by his wife, Tara Sue Moore; daughters, Amanda Sue Reynolds, Susan Dabbs Pomtree (Neal) of Little Rock and Cindi Dabbs Vowell (Mike) of Pensacola, Florida; one sister, Marilyn Kay Moore of Sinton, Texas; niece, Dani Linthacum Atiles of Washington State; grandchildren, Chase Pomtree, Grace Pomtree, Becky Vowell Taylor (John), Holli Vowell, Amanda Vowell, Chad Vowell, Wes Vowell, Lindsay Vowell and Breana Vowell as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

   Services will be held at Cedar Heights Baptist Church, North Little Rock, Arkansas Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 2:00 p.m, with Brother Charlie Winters officiating.  Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. 

   The family will receive friends at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home,(50l 224-8300) Monday, November 22, 2004 from 6:30 -8:30.
