Reverend Shane Judd Dority, 38, of North Little Rock, went to be with his Savior on Sunday, March 29, 2009. Shane was born September 2, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Judd and Katheryne Dority.

Shane was employed at the Union Pacific Railroad and treasured the friends he worked with. Shane ministered in word and song and touched many lives through his ministry. Shane was a wonderful father and enjoyed reading and singing to his sons. Now he is singing to God.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Asael Jones and Melvin Dority; grandmother, Verlus Dority, and two very close friends; Velva Maupin and Shari Fortson.

Shane is survived by his wife, whom he loved very much; Marie Dority, two young sons; Gabriel and Garrison; his parents, sister, Denise (Eric) Thomson, brother, Todd (Rosie) Dority, and grandmother, Rose Jones. Shane will be missed by nephews, nieces, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400) . Interment will follow at Gravel Ridge Cemetery, Sherwood, AR. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2009 at the funeral home.
