March 1, 1914 - February 5, 2009 Fairie Bailey born March 1, 1914 in Clinton, Arkansas died to this world but entered into Heaven, on February 5, 2009, at 7:30a.m.
She leaves behind one daughter, Donna and son-in-law Ronald Ramsey of Kensett, AR; three grandsons, Jackie Bailey of Kensett, Anthony Bailey of Pangburn, and Mitchell Ramsey of Kensett; three granddaughters, Pam Jones of Alabama, Vicki Bailey of Higginson, and Kristy Snow of Searcy. She had fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Pat Felton of Hensley, and Lillian Watson of Rupert, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Ruble Bailey of Jacksonville; several beloved nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Alma Crabtree; her husband, Oscar Bailey; three sisters, Ruby Crabtree, Essie Emerson both of Crabtree, Arkansas; and Susie Emerson Ritz of Chanute, Kansas; two brothers, Melvin Crabtree of Crabtree, Arkansas and Lucian Dude Crabtree of Chanute, Kansas; one daughter, Carol Bailey; one son, Darrell Bailey of Kensett; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the oldest member of Kensett First Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following at Kensett Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jim Scarbrough, Roy Hughes, Julian McFadden, Alvin, Carl and Dean Ferren.
