Bobby Gene Tarkington, Sr. 62, of Enola passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009. Born in Little Rock, AR on November 5, 1946, he was the son of the late Robert T. and Throna (Reagan) Tarkington. Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather and attended Assembly of God Legacy of Faith Church in Mt. Vernon.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Linda (Williams) Tarkington; two sons Wesley Tarkington and wife Corinne and Bobby Gene Tarkington, Jr. and wife Cristy, both of Greenbrier; a daughter Wanda Riddle and husband Ron of Beebe; grandchildren: Kaci Riddle, Chism Riddle, Christopher Tarkington, Nathan Tarkington, Katie Tarkington, Jeremy Sanders, Brayden Sanders, Delia Sanders and Josh Collver; one great grandchild Micaela Collver and a host of family and friends. Special thanks to his brother-in-law Randall Williams wife Rose.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with interment to follow at Marcus Hill Cemetery in Enola. Pallbearers are Keith Woodrome, John Cave, Mike Casey, Steve McArthur, Ricky Gotcher, Brent Alexander and Mike Rice. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16.
