Alton A Stracener
of Keiser, AR May 5, 1936 - October 4, 2008 Alton A. Stracener, 72, of Keiser entered into rest Saturday, October 4, 2008 at his home. Born Tuesday, May 5, 1936 in Humnoke, AR to the late Grover and Lillie Stracener, and step mother Jean Stracener, he was a member of Keiser Full Gospel Church, retired after 30 years of service in the United States Marine Corps., and was a welder and mechanic. He is survived by his wife Betty Stracener of Keiser; three sons: Anthony “Tony” Stracener of Oceanside, CA, William “Bill” Stracener of Keiser and Millard “Muff” Stracener of Sydney, AR; three daughters: Lucilla “ Sissy” Reams of Jonesboro, Norma “Susie” Stracener of Boston, MA and Laura Stracener of Keiser; four sisters: Frances Browder of TX, Jeanette Eanes of England, AR, Telitha Selskin of Scottsdale, AR and Johnnie Dale Stracener of Osceola; four brothers: Tommy Stracener of Jonesboro, Grover Lee Stracener and Larry Stracener both of Blytheville and William Stracener of Mountain Home; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Eric Stracener, one brother Landis Stracener and one sister Janice Bell. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2008 at Roller-Swift Funeral Home.
