Rena Alice Rackley
of N. Little Rock, AR
August 8, 1914 - September 14, 2008 Rena Rackley, 94, of Conway, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008.
She was born August 8, 1914 in Russellville to the late William V. Jones and Annie Hogan Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Jake Rackley; a brother, Ted Jones and a sister Faye Shinn.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and belonged to the Mary Martha Missionary Circle.
She was a hospital volunteer for many years; a wonderful wife and mother.
She is survived by a son Marcus Rackley and wife Sue of Overland Park, Kansas; a daughter, JaRene Buddenberg and husband Mel of N. Little Rock; a sister, Velda Benetiz of Lexington, KY; six grandchildren, Dr. Beverly Spray of Springfield, MO, Scott Buddenberg of N. Little Rock, Anna Rackley, Katie Rackley, Dan Rackley, Nicole Newlan and husband Clint of Overland Park, KS; one great grandchild, Curry Spray of Springfield, MO.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Darrell Teeter a nephew officiating.
Visitation will be 10:30 AM to service time at 11:00 AM at the cemetery.
