Darrell Edward Brannon, 66, of Conway, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock.

Born August 11, 1941, in Conway, AR, to the late Hans Hayes Brannon and Lillian Louise (Golf) Brannon, he was a heavy machine operator and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Juanita I. (Welling) Brannon; children, Don Curtis of Conway, Gena Alvey of Belleville, Arkansas, Claudia Moore of Lowe, AR, Joseph Welling of North Carolina, Andy Brannon of Phoenix, AZ, and Darrell Brannon, Jr. of Bethel, Alaska; several grandchildren; and two brothers, Calvin Brannon of Conway and Cyril Brannon of Hartford, AR.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 4, at 10:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery in North Little Rock with military honors provided by the U.S. Army and VFW, Post 2259.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
