Reverend Harry Cottrell went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 09, 2008. He was born May 24, 1920 to Clarence Edward and Lillian (Guy) Cottrell in Mobile, Alabama.

Harry served in the Merchant Marines. He was a Methodist preacher in Arkansas and Mississippi. Harry was a Private Investigator, Notary Public and a baker. He loved to travel and fish. He was married to Louella (Hulsey) for 16 years.

He is preceded in death by parents: Clarence Edward and Lillian (Guy) Cottrell, brothers: Mickey, Clarence, Earl, James, Roy, and Charles, sisters: Dorothy Cottrell and Ruth Cottrell.

Survivors include his wife Louella of Marshall, Arkansas, two sisters: Claire Ohms of Biloxi, Mississippi, Edna Cottrell of Lakeland, Florida, one brother: Paul Cottrell of Lakeland, Florida, two sisters-in-law: Cheryll Cottrell of Phenixcity, Alabama, Martha Cottrell of Lakeland, Florida, two sons: Timmy Cottrell and Bobby Cottrell, one daughter: Terri Cottrell, stepchildren: James and Leah Surber of Bergman, Arkansas; Janice and David Haas of Leslie, Arkansas; Ann Gorecke of Flag, Arkansas, Loretta and Danny Laymon of Marshall, Arkansas, Steven Gorecke of Harrison, Arkansas; Stanley and Cathy Gorecke of Harrison, Arkansas, nine step grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and church family.

Graveside services will be Monday, April 14, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Kilburn Cemetery in Pindall, Arkansas with Tommy Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
