Mamie Laster

August 10, 1910 - October 7, 2007 Mamie Laster was born on August 10, 1910, in Hartman, Arkansas, to the late William and Thomas and Annie Elizabeth (Smith) Hatcher. She died on Sunday, October 7, 2007, in Clarksville, at the age of 97. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarksville Church of Christ.
Mamie is survived by two sons, Clyde Laster of Clarksville, Arkansas and Raymond Laster and wife Lanell of Van Buren, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Jeff Laster, Brent Laster, Susan Millsap, Sarah Laster, Brenda Wolfe, and Cathy Laster; and four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Annie Elizabeth (Smith) Hatcher; her husband, Opal C. Laster; and one son, Ronnie Laster.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at the Clarksville Church of Christ, with John Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery of Clarksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville (479) 754-2201.
Casket Bearers will be John Nelson, William Ruteledge, Duane Steele, Jeff Laster, Brent Laster, and Walker Laster.
