Fayrene Leonard Stewart, 90, of Batesville passed away Friday, July 29, 2022.
She was born July 21, 1932 in Bethesda, Arkansas to Robert Allen Leonard and Nona Edwards Leonard.
Fayrene was a member of Central Ave United Methodist Church. She loved her flowers and her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Don Stewart (Pam) of Batesville; daughter, Nanetta Faye Jones (Dennis) of Velvet Ridge; brother, Gary Leonard (Linda) of Batesville; three sisters, Dorothy Caraway of Batesville, Carolyn Courtney of Benton and Mary Katherine Mitchell (Paul) of Batesville; twelve grandchildren, Bradley Hopper, Aaron Turner, Christy Gann, Cecil Jones, Sandy Songbird, Joshua Jones, Christopher Williams, Matthew Jones, April Lampton, Al Stewart, Chris Stewart and Roy Stewart; fifteen great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Hopper, Trysten Hopper, R.J. Jones, Alissa Jones, McKenzie Cherry, Collen Gann, Katlyn Gann, Tyler Lambert, Robin Lampton, Tanner Blackburn, Cayce Blackburn, Zachary Stewart, John Michael Stewart, Carson Stewart and Lucas Stewart; four great-great-grandchildren, Nathan Slout, Ranger Stewart, Novella Stewart and Charlotte Rose Blackburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ples Dene Stewart; infant son, Roy Dene Stewart and brother, Bobby Leonard.
Graveside services will begin at 2:00pm Monday, August 1, 2022 at Campground Cemetery in Bethesda, under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Tyler Bramlett officiating.
