Margie E Jones, 81, of Batesville, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021.

She was born July 29, 1940 in Rosie, Arkansas to Oscar Earl Gass and Oma Juell Freeman Gass.

Margie was tenderhearted and very giving; she loved her family dearly. She worked at the BX on Jacksonville's Air Force Base, Walmart, as well as being a caregiver. She enjoyed making jewelry, painting, sewing, and was a great cook.

Survivors include her two daughters, Valerie Gay of Batesville and Lori Williams (Charley) of Bethesda; two grandchildren, Kyle Lawrence (Tina) and Ashley Fields (Josh); three great-grandchildren, William Gonyer, Joshua Vannattan, and Gabriel Fields; one nephew in Austin, Texas and several nieces and nephews in South Carolina and West Virginia; and a host of cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted Jones; and brother, Gerald Gass.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, November 13, 2021 at First Church of the Nazarene in Batesville with Pastor Roberta Bustin officiating.
