James Earl Jackson, Jr., 70, of Floral passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
He was born January 29, 1950 in Aubrey, Arkansas to James Earl Jackson, Sr. and Oma Leona (Burch) Jackson.
James was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he was very active and served as a Deacon. He loved his wife and his family; he enjoyed family gatherings, hunting and fishing. He was a United States Army veteran and served during Vietnam. He was tough, caring, loving and a unique individual; he had his own sandblasting and painting company and was always working on something.
Survivors include his two sisters, Rose Marie Caldwell of Floral and Louiza Elvonda Jones of Montgomery, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Erica Harris, Rachel Caldwell, Tony Caldwell and Troy Seaton; as well as a host of other nieces and nephews; and one god daughter, Jamie Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 51 years, Donna Marie Jackson; two brothers, Johnny Burch and Kenneth Jackson; and two sisters, Blanche Easley and Jo Wanda Wilkerson.
There will be a joint graveside service and visitation to honor both James Earl Jackson, Jr. and his wife, Donna Marie Jackson that passed away on August 26, 2020. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Kyler Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with Bro. Bob Daily officiating.
Visitation will be held from noon until 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the funeral home.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering and social distancing will be observed.
