Hope Risley, age 93, of Harrison, passed to her heavenly home on Friday, September 4, 2020, at Hillcrest Home. Hope was the daughter of Ceaf and Pansy (Pemberton) Arnold, born on April 2, 1927, in Lowry, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walton V. Risley; her son-in-law, Stephen Lee; and three brothers, Joe, Enloe, and Don Arnold.
Hope was a Charter member of Northvale Baptist Church as well as a member at Eagle Height Baptist Church. She was a very competitive woman and was not a fan of losing whether it was Chinese checkers, ping pong, or even croquet, but she was always a fair player, she just loved the competition.
Hope is survived by her children, Tim Alan Risley and wife Ronnie Ann of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Arleen Lee of Harrison; three grandsons, Tim Alan Risley, Jr. and wife Jamee of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Zach Lee and wife Shari of Harrison, and Tyler Lee and wife Melissa, of Harrison.
Hope has two sisters, Marie Scroggins Mayes and Lorene Risley, both of Harrison; six great-grandchildren, Tim Alan Risley, III, Elijah Walton Risley, Nathan James Risley, London Grace Lee, Zachary Skyler Lee, and Beckham Cruz Lee; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral service was Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Maplewood Cemetery, for family and friends, with Bro. Tim Cooper officiating.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hillcrest Nursing Home for their care and compassion for Hope.
Roller-Christeson Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Your great grandmother, Sally Pemberton, lived across the street from us for many years. She was so proud of Hope, Walton, and family. We loved her very much, and all her family.

I want to extend my sympathies to your family. Hope was always one of my favorite moms and to know her was to love her I was blessed to know her!! Hee love for her family was fierce and true. I pray God's peace will be with each of you in the days ahead.
