Marie (Komp) Schluterman, 99, of Paris, Arkansas passed on to her heavenly reward on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 23, 1921 in Paris to her parents, Henry Komp, Sr. and Theresia (Baumgartner) Komp.
Marie was a homemaker and member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and Mother's Society and the Subiaco E.H. Club. She was a very loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, sewing and canning.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Benard "Bennie" Schluterman; one daughter, Rita Kay Schluterman; one sister, Hilda Strobel; three brothers, Henry Jr., Lawrence and George Komp and one son-in-law, Phillip Schneider.
She is survived by her three daughters, Rose Schneider of Subiaco, Theresa Naegle and husband Bill of Paris and Joan Johnson of Scranton; two sons, Mike Schluterman and wife Gina of Paris and Kenny Schluterman and wife Cindy of Paris; two brothers, Ed Komp of Wichita, Kansas and Rufus Komp of Wichita, Kansas; seventeen grandchildren, Becky Domon, Shane Schneider, Keith, Amy, Adam, Alex and Tyler Schluterman, Julie Mikles, Jennifer Koch, Marie Burdine, Craig Schluterman, Andy, Joey and Michelle Naegle, Melissa Dietz, Mark Johnson and Amanda Bean; 38 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A Rosary service will be held at 7:45 p.m., on Monday, August 16, 2021 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 St. Benedict Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel, O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
