Boyd Wilden Miller passed away peacefully on September 18, 2023 surrounded by family.

Boyd was born on November 25, 1924 to Rollo and Mattie Miller of North Little Rock, AR. He attended North Little Rock High School and enlisted in the Army shortly after graduating. After the completion of his service, he owned and operated his own lumber company, West End Lumber Company. After retiring from many years as a business owner, he regularly volunteered at Fort Roots Veterans Center and enjoyed playing golf.

Boyd was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he attended and sang in the choir for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 66 years, Eva Emogene Miller and his two sons, Kenneth and David Miller.

He is survived by his four grandchildren, Patrick Miller (Rachel), Joshua Miller (Barbie), Matthew Miller and Brittany Cissell (Levi); eight great-grandchildren; his daughter-in-law, Cindy Miller and special friends, Randi and Dean Muraco.

Boyd will be remembered by his dedication to his family and Christ, his hardworking spirit and his "tell ya like it is" attitude.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff of Willow Grove of Sherwood Assisted Living for the love & care received for the last six years of his life.

Mr. Boyd was our Thursday Morning Bible Breakfast celebrity for many years.
Just watched the video. He would have been more a celebrity if we had known he married a Hollywood Beauty.
He led as many as 130 men in
Victory in Jesus every Thursday morning. Mr Boyd not singing it but living it today, well maybe both.
Prayers for family.

I am so saddened to hear of Boyd’s passing. Boyd and I are cousins and grew up together, often exploring the countryside on bicycles as young boys did. I will never forget Boyd taking me across the Arkansas River railroad bridge on a bicycle as a train was passing beside us. We lived full lives in spite of our youthful selves. Blessings to Boyd’s family.
